Ingredients

  • 1 glass of water
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 2 teaspoons of dried mint
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 stem of fresh mint leaves
  • 1 slice of ginger (optional)

Important

Keep the heat low under the stove. This way, the aroma of mint and lemon will pass into the water more slowly and effectively.

The Recipe

Place a saucepan on the stove. Add mint and water to it. Grate the lemon into small pieces and add it. Reduce the heat under the stove to low and cook until it boils. Stir occasionally. After boiling, add sugar and stir. Strain the boiling mixture into a cup. You can serve it with a stem of mint leaves and a few slices of lemon on top. You can also add ginger if desired.
